The Heritage Porsche Project and tjtryon had the pleasure of both instructing and driving at the 2026 CIRPCA Spring Brake High Performance Driver Education event, held April 17-19 at Putnam Park Sports Car Course in Greencastle, Indiana.
Hosted by the Central Indiana Region of the Porsche Club of America, Spring Brake gave drivers of varying experience levels the opportunity to develop their skills in a safe, structured track environment. Putnam Park is an excellent venue for High Performance Driver Education, with a flowing layout that rewards vision, smooth inputs, accurate corner placement, and consistent execution.
This session was driven at approximately eight-tenths effort. Rather than chasing lap times, I focused on refining my race lines, improving consistency, and working through the technical details that make each lap smoother and more precise.
