There is just something about Tuscany, about the amber and yellow hues that tend to fall to the earth from the big blazing ball in the sky. I have been fascinated with this phenomenon for about 20 years now, and it has really take over my creativity. Here’s an original composition by me (TJ Tryon). I have written this for my simple fingering on my Ukulele, but it could easily be transferred to piano or guitar to make a very lovely song. If you’d like to have the tab or the sheet music, let me know. I have also had the words translated to Italian, in the event you would like to take a stab at making it difficult.
With the Light of Tuscany (an original composition by TJ Tryon)
(Verse 1)
In the land of Tuscany, divine natural light,
He blesses everything he touches, a gift that illuminates.
Among the golden hills, the sun dances and sings,
Awaken the colors, like a sweet enchantment.
(Chorus)
Light of Tuscany, bless our hearts,
In every ray you shine, a painless art.
In the golden light, beauty is reflected,
Like a divine painting, which the heart caresses and places.
(Verse 2)
Under the blue sky, among cypresses and vines,
Nature whispers secrets, infinite melodies.
Every olive and every flower witnesses a love,
May the light of Tuscany, be eternal, I propose again.
(Chorus)
Light of Tuscany, bless our hearts,
In every ray you shine, a painless art.
In the golden light, beauty is reflected,
Like a divine painting, which the heart caresses and places.
(Bridge)
Among the ancient walls, the sun paints art,
The landscapes embrace, and the heart beats fast.
Everything awakens, under this golden cloak,
The light of Tuscany, a gift of love.
(Verse 3)
Between the valleys and the fields, the light tells stories,
Of love, of passion, of ancient memories.
In the stone villages, where time stops,
The light of Tuscany, like a warming dream.
(Chorus)
Light of Tuscany, bless our hearts,
In every ray you shine, a painless art.
In the golden light, beauty is reflected,
Like a divine painting, which the heart caresses and places.
(Outro)
So in Tuscany, among vineyards and golden sunsets,
The eternal light dances, a song without decorum.
Blessed be this land, from which the heart lights up,
With the light of Tuscany, our love extends.
